About The Collection

The lasers and holograms in this exhibit come from the private collection of Robert A (Bob) Hess. His Vintage Laser Archive was assembled over a 40-year career as a working holographer, and is the largest collection of lasers and related artifacts in the world. A description of some of the earliest lasers is here.
